A little care goes a long way in keeping your prayer jilbab soft, opaque, and comfortable wear after wear.
Washing
Hand wash or use a gentle machine cycle in cold water. Cold water helps protect colour and fabric texture, especially for richer shades like Violet Blue or Dusty Mauve.
What to Avoid
Do not bleach. Bleach breaks down fabric fibres over time and can fade or yellow the material, especially on lighter colours.
Drying and Ironing
Line dry in shade rather than direct sun, which can fade colour over time. If ironing is needed, use a low heat setting and iron the garment inside out to protect the outer surface.
Storage
Fold or hang your jilbab in a clean, dry space, away from direct sunlight, to keep it ready for your next Salah, Taraweeh night, or Umrah trip.
